John Terry is not in the Chelsea team at the moment, but he’s playing an impressive role from the sidelines as a cheerleader.
So far, since being dropped this has largely involved congratulating teammates as they’ve gone on their astonishing run. But the role came into its own after the defeat to Tottenham last night, when the club captain was able to raise spirits by posting the following image to his Instagram page.
It’s a small consolation after a painful defeat, but having JT on hand to pick you up off the ground will be as helpful for his teammates as it is for us.
