Chelsea have renewed the loan of forward Lucas Piazon, according to reports in the Daily Mail.
The Brazilian has been on loan at Fulham since the start of the season, and in one of the rare successful loans the Blues have managed to the Championship, is actually getting games.
The 22 year old has gradually forced his way into the Cottagers team over the course of the season, and has 17 starts in all competitions this season.
The Championship is not an easy place to play, especially for a creative player, and Piazon deserves great credit for his hard work last season at Reading and this season by the Thames in establishing himself as a good player at that level. It’s no surprise to see his loan extended, and with the Whites just outside the playoff places, the Chelsea loanee could play a vital role for them at the business end of the season.
