Chelsea trio pay visit to Ryan Mason in hospital

Three members of Chelsea’s first team staff have visited Ryan Mason in hospital, according to reports from ITV.

Gary Cahill, John Terry and assistant manager Steve Holland all went to St Mary’s Hospital in London last night to see Mason after he received a skull fracture in the game against the Blues.

After eight minutes of treatment following a clash of heads with Cahill, the 25 year old was stretchered off and taken for immediate tests. He had surgery shortly after.

Rumours about his condition did the rounds on social media last night, but  it seems that the worst of these have been shown to be false now, with the midfielder apparently in a stable condition.

After the horrific Petr Cech incident ten years ago Chelsea fans are more aware than most of what it feels like to be put through this, and best wishes have flooded in from all corners of the globe for Chelsea supporter Mason and for all worried Hull fans.
