Chelsea have resumed where they left of last month, recording a hundred percent winning streak in November after victories over Everton, Middlesbrough and Tottenham Hotspur.
Now Chelsea are on the edge of winning the triple of accolades for last month’s performances after five nominations. Diego Costa and Pedro are nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award, while Antonio Conte is one of the four managers tipped to claim the Manager of the Month prize. And if that wasn’t enough for you, Eden Hazard’s great solo goal against Everton and Pedro’s stunning strike versus Spurs are also nominated for the Goal of the Month award.
Diego Costa and Pedro have both performed fantastically in the past spell, scoring two goals and providing two assists to their names. In October Eden Hazard won the Player of the Month award with three goals and one assist, so the scores are pretty much equal.
Antonio Conte was also handed the Manager of the Month award from October, and it’d be logical for him to win the prize once again, despite finally letting one goal in against Spurs to end the six-game streak of clean sheets.
