As it happened: Chelsea 4-2 Stoke City

THE TITLE FORM RESUMES! Thirteen victories in a row and it couldn’t get better for the Blues!

A slightly different result for Antonio Conte’s side, as the last time Chelsea conceded more than one goal in the league was in the 3-0 loss to Arsenal in September, which actually happens to be last time Chelsea lost this term.

A great Cahill header, a wonderful Willian brace and a superb Diego Costa goal were the decisive calls to kill the game over Stoke’s two surprise equalizers. Cesc Fabregas provided two greta assist on his fourth start of the season, and Eden Hazard was yet again involved by setting up Willian’s 2-1 goal with a lovely touch of class.

The year of 2016 comes to a close, and we’ll be hoping for the form to continue when we step on the second half of the campaign next Wednesday in the deadly derby against Tottenham away.
