Chelsea announce mega kit deal with Nike

Chelsea Football Club have today announced a new, long-term partnership with worldwide-known Nike, the club have proudly presented on their official website.

After a 11-year-long run with Adidas, The Blues have got themselves even a bigger deal, as the American sportswear giant will not only design and manufacture the official kits from 2017/18 onward, but also fund Chelsea £60m-a-year.

The amount is almost the double of what Adidas got covered before, and thought that Nike’s £60m deal with Chelsea will last the agreed 15 years from now, it ranks high in the world records of the most lucrative deal of its kind with a total worth around £900m.

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia was jubilant after pulling off the deal, and told the club’s official website how well Nike matches with the West London club’s ambitions.

This is an incredibly exciting and important deal for the club.
