Chelsea fans have got their enthusiasm up this evening as Riyad Mahrez has checked himself in to Chelsea’s official hotel; Chelsea Harbour.
Sports journalism student Alessandro apparently met both, the Leicester City star, and the Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, at the hotel this afternoon around 2:00pm.

Chelsea have long been interested in the Algerian, but many reports have linked him to either a Leicester stay or a big-money move to Arsenal, which have killed the recent rumours of Mahrez joining The Blues.
However, this hazardous confrontation between a fan, manager and the player have rejuvenated the rumours with a bang.

According to Alessandro’s tweets, he was meeting Conte at the hotel, and once he left, he saw Riyad Mahrez checking in to the hotel.
It’s all up to your own belief was it all just coincidence that the two Premier League greats were in the same place at the same time, as nothing’s certainly confirmed (just yet).
Many Chelsea fans are already tipping the club to sign the 25-year-old, and are ready to ‘build a statue’ for the club director Michael Emenalo should he make this happen.

Most fans didn’t get their hopes high from the rumour, and remain indignant for Chelsea’s poor transfer activity.

Whatever the outcome will be – Chelsea either signing Mahrez with some extreme ninja moves avoiding media’s attention, or the guy reporting this is just a huge troll – it’s always nice to open Twitter and find all these colourful opinions regarding the rumour that has no official backstory whatsoever. Ha!
