Chelsea receive huge boost in £43m Koulibaly deal

Chelsea have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, as Napoli are finally ready to clutch their replacement Nikola Maksomovic.

According to Turin newspaper Tuttosport, the Torino center-back has walked out of his club, missed several training sessions and flew back to his home country Serbia to force a move to Napoli.

To make it a bit more clear, Napoli have been ready to sell Chelsea target Koulibaly, but haven’t been able to agree the deal for a replacement, who Maksimovic clearly is.

Torino have been in negotiations with Napoli over a €25m (£21.5m) deal to sign Maksimovic, but since the teams haven’t got to an agreement and the player still wants to go, things just fall into Chelsea’s favour.

Chelsea on the other hand have made an improved €58m (£43m) bid for Koulibaly, as the Senegal international and Napoli have ended up in a strong disagreement on talks over a contract extension.
