Chelsea and United ready for swap deal

Manchester united new boss, Jose Mourinho has reportedly stepped up his bid for Chelsea Midfielder, Nemanja Matic by offering to exchange defender Matteo Darmian.

After Mourinho’s move to Manchester United, reports have claimed that, Matic has been one of his top targets after working with the Serbian at the Stanford Bridge and according to The Sunday People, he is prepared to allow one of his players to link up with the Blues.

With the Italian coach, Antonio Conte, taking over the Blues after the on-going tournament in France (Euros), he is expected to agree to the terms after he stuck with Darmian in his team against Belgium, rather than keeping Matic who struggled throughout last season.

The report comes after it emerged that Mourinho was keen to boost his back line with the signing of Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci, while also keeping hold of Phil Jones.
