Juventus star open to Chelsea move

Chelsea have been given a huge boost in the signing of Antonio Conte’s former teammate Leonardo Bonucci, Daily Mirror reports.

The Italy international, who has just helped his Juventus side to land the fifth successive Serie A title to Turin, is one of the club’s main targets this summer.

Juventus have told the player is not for sale, but despite that the player has refused to commit his future to the club when asked about his future plans.

I haven’t said anything yet. The question hasn’t been asked, so I can’t say either yes or no.

Antonio Conte, who will join the West London club after Euro 2016, has been working with the 28-year-old for two years now in the national team, and three years before that in Juventus.

Chelsea’s continued interest on the center-half has put the skipper John Terry’s time at the Blues on the line, as the former England international is still pending a contract extension at Stamford Bridge.
