Chelsea vs Manchester United – Half-time report

With Manchester United dominating the first 20 minutes Chelsea started to get a strong foothold in the game around the 30 minute mark, with chances falling to Costa and Oscar – but no dice. Chelsea really struggled at the start of the half with many misplaced passes and unable to clear the oncoming attacks, United had 9 corners in the first 30 minutes showing how much under the cosh we were. Martial vs Ivanovic was the main battle with United continually attacking down the right.

As Chelsea grew into the half De Gea made some great saves to keep Chelsea out, the biggest falling to Costa as the ball was flashed across the mouth of the goal and wide of the goal. It was a pretty even game from then on until the last action of the half which should of see Terry get a penalty as Blind threw his arms up in the area to make himself bigger, but remember this is the Premier League and we don’t get those decisions!
