Allegri to stay in Juventus, Simeone not wanted by Abramovich

Since José Mourinho’s Chelsea era came to its second end, the Blues have been desperately looking for a replacement as the interim manager Guus Hiddink seems improbable to extend his time at Stamford Bridge after the season.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri, who was said to have privately agreed a 4-year-old deal with Abramovich, has told Sky Italia ‘there’s nothing’ to the deal.

There’s nothing to it. I cannot either confirm or deny something that doesn’t exist.

I want this matter over and done with now. What’s important for me right now is to get to the end of the season with Juventus and try and win some silverware.

The Argentinian manager Diego Simeone was said to be on Abramovich’s ‘unwanted’ list as the Russian billionaire doesn’t like the Atletico Manager boss’ style of play.

After Allegri wanting to stay in Italy and Abramovich rather not preferring Simeone, Chelsea are back to find new solutions as they’ve also missed on Pep Guardiola who chose Manchester City, while Carlo Ancelotti will take the Spaniard’s place in Bayer Munich.

Italian head coach Antonio Conte has also been linked to the London side, as the manager looks to return to club football next season.
