Hiddink: Costa can’t do it alone, he needs the others to perform

New Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has told his attacking players that the goalscoring burden does not fall on striker Diego Costa alone.

Costa is Chelsea’s highest scorer this season with 5 goals, two were scored in a 2-2 draw with Watford.

Guus knows that he must get the best out of his main forward Diego Costa as Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy are both current injured, but he believes the Spanish international needs help from his team-mates.

Diego is focusing on his job and thats a lot of responsibility. He’s brave and he like to be like that. There’s a lot of technical skill in the midfield and attacking positions. We have to see how the players can become more productive and take the next step.

I don’t know if it’s true true the bigger clubs will eventually pull through. Normally you see teams like Leicester or Palace or Watford starting well, let’s say until the leaves are going to fall, and then they will have some problems. But they’ve managed to maintain their good performances.
