“Reports” coming out of “Cobham” today suggest that Chelsea duo Oscar and Diego Costa were separated by team-mates and staff in this morning’s training session.
Costa, who has been described as the life of the dressing room by team-mates, was rumoured to have gone in strong on Oscar, who responded with an “outrageous” tackle of his own.
The source suggests that team-mates were stunned, though you would think by now they would be more than accustomed to the sight of Costa picking himself up off of the ground and squaring up to someone.
The Mirror claim that the two were quickly best-friends again and seen walking to the changing room together after training (perhaps for round two?).
The same ‘source’ claims the bust-up became the leading joke in the dressing-room after training, though the credibility of the story is still disputed.
Hiddink is said to be unconcerned by the scrap, which I’m sure is the disposition most Chelsea fans will gladly take from unreliable reports.
