Pedro is looking forward to working under Hiddink

Despite struggling to settle into life at Stamford Bridge following his switch from Spanish giants Barcelona, Pedro insists that he is not looking for a La Liga return.

Following the £21m move from the Nou Camp, expectations were heavy on the shoulders of the Spaniard, but it simply hasn’t worked for him in West London thus far.

Currently having their worst season ever since Roman Abramovich brought the club, Chelsea FC thought it was time to sack manager Jose Mourinho and it’s now time for the Blues to finish the season as strongly as they can.

Pedro, who signed a four-year-deal upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge, has spoken out to deny that he is unsettled in West London and that he’s looking forward to working under interim manager Guus Hiddink, who spoke to Pedro about the rest of the season, in Spanish.

I’m happy here. This information that I’m not is false. I am very satisfied to be here in this club.

I am happy with the supporters and this team. Obviously the situation is not good but together it is possible for us to climb the table.

Guus Hiddink is a very good coach and I am sure the club are confident about him. He spoke with me after the Sunderland game for a minute in Spanish and I had a good feeling. For me it was perfect. He was telling me is happy here and with the team.

The squad were given two days off following their 3-1 win at the Bridge against Sunderland, and Hiddink is taking his first training session today since being confirmed as interim boss until the end of the season.
