Drogba backs Chelsea to keep winning

Didier Drogba has described Chelsea’s struggles this season as an unfamiliar situation but believes recent signs show they could be turning things around at the club.

The legend who scored 164 goals in 282 appearances at the club was part of Chelsea’s squad that won the Champions League in 2012 and several titles and domestic cups.

He thinks the Chelsea squads faced bad periods but this season has been a very difficult one for his former side to manage.

It’s a different situation for club, manager and players.

When you have won the league the season before and you find yourselves in the last three or four teams in the table after four or five games, it is a shock. I know the players and the manager have the ability to change this.

They have won two consecutive games in the last two days, so I think it is kind of a new start.
