Chelsea lineup Jose replacements should he lose against Liverpool

It is an interesting EPL season so far, especially if you are Jose Mourinho and Chelsea supporter. The pre-season talk was all around how Mourinho has a great squad and if (not how) Arsenal, Manchester City and the others will be able to catch them.

Fast forward ten games and the talk is completely opposite. With five losses already and having shipped 19 goals (they shipped only 32 in 38 games last season), there is a sense of impending explosion at the Stamford Bridge.

Some reports even talk about replacements and how Mourinho could be sacked as early as this weekend. There is a growing concern on how his antics, both on and off the field, have hit the club. It is no rocket science that the club is facing the biggest challenge of recent times.

Ironically enough, this is the third year for Mourinho which is where all the talk starts. He never went beyond the third season in any of his tenures. As the master tactician himself admitted, this is his biggest challenge. For many, it’s a matter of time before he gets sacked.

The Capital One Cup clash versus Stoke and the weekend crucial game against Liverpool could decide the fate of Mourinho. Some may brush off these reports as rumors but is the club willing to bite the brunt of another loss to Liverpool?

A win against Liverpool could be a catalyst to set the wheels in motion but another loss could bring a change. Never ever will the expression fingers crossed be apt for a situation!
