Moses signs 4 year deal, loaned to West Ham

Adding to the long list of players out on loan, Victor Moses joined Premier League rivals West Ham United for the entire season of 2015-16.

The 24-year-old winger has made the move on the deadline day, after a full day of rumours linking him with various clubs including Tottenham Hotspur.

The Nigerian playmaker has spent the last two seasons on loan at Liverpool and Stoke City. He could play only 19 games each at these two clubs.

Moses started his career with Crystal Palace and became a regular for them from 2007-10. He later moved to Wigan Athletic where he spent two full seasons.

The winger caught the eye of Stamford Bridge during his tenure at Wigan and was promptly signed in August 2012. Moses was very popular with the Blues’ fans having scored ten goals in his first season.

The competition of places meant that he spent time away from the club in the last two seasons. When the word was out that he would be available for loan, there was no shortage of suitors. Ultimately, it was West Ham which won the race.

According to Sky News, West Ham paid a loan fee of £2.5 million. The winger has also signed a four-year deal with the club and expects to make full use of the loan.

Moses will be an excellent addition for West Ham and should continue to prove a hit with Chelsea fans – especially if he picks points against other title contenders.
