Chelsea have confirmed that Marko Marin will join Trabzonspor this season on loan.
Three years ago Chelsea FC made a shock move by buying the “German Messi” for around £5.6m. Since then Marin has made only 16 Appearances for Chelsea FC and he scored only one goal against Wigan.
He won the Europa League with Chelsea FC and that’s the only thing he won. After the first season at Chelsea he was loaned out to Sevilla FC where he won the Europa League (AGAIN!).
So remember, if your club buys Marko Marin then you’re going to win the Europa League. After Sevilla, he had loan spells at Fiorentina and then Anderlecht. But now his Chelsea career will end here as Trabzonspor manager confirmed that Marin is going to join them.
Rumours say that it’s a permanent move for £2.5m but it also could be a loan move with the option to buy.
Sadly the German Messi failed to show his talent at Chelsea FC but maybe we’re going to see the Argentinian Messi one day at Chelsea FC to show Marin how it’s done.
