According to Turkish-Football, Atletico Madrid star Arda Turan’s agent Ahmet Bulut has rubbished talks over a possible transfer to FC Barcelona.
There has been a lot of talk over recent weeks that the Turkish international is currently considering his options. The twenty-eight-year-old also confirmed his current situation via Twitter a few days ago.
The transfer rumors are not entirely correct. My agent is currently in touch with 3-4 clubs. I will update you all if a deal is made.

However, it appears that the Champions League winners aren’t one of those clubs. Speaking to NTV Spor, Arda’s agent Ahmet Bulut said: “I have not spoke with anyone from Barcelona, these newspaper stories are just rumours.”
Interestingly though, Turan’s destination will be revealed soon. Bulut went on to explain, “I am not going to say where Arda is going right now it is not the right time I would love to say but in three to four days the club will let you know anyway.”
Ahmet Bulut also noted that while reports claimed his client would be leaving for a fee of around €35 million, Atletico Madrid plan on getting nothing less than Arda’s release clause – €41 million.
Chelsea and Manchester United are the two Premier League clubs who have been strongly linked with Atletico’s number ten, but Chelsea appear to lead the race for the Turk’s signature. Within the next week though, all shall be revealed.
