Salah lands in Italy to complete Roma loan move

Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah has landed in Italy to complete a season long loan move to AS Roma.

The 23-year old arrived at the Fiumicino airport in Rome after flying in to complete a medical ahead of the move on Wednesday.

Salah spent last season on loan at Fiorentina scoring nine goals in the process, where he caught the eye of several top clubs in Italy including Inter Milan.

However Roma have led the race for the Egyptian winger after Jose Mourinho deemed him surplus to requirements.

Speaking about Salah’s move to Roma, the winger’s agent Ramy Abbas told KingFut.com,

Sure, after the results of the medical are concluded, they can take one to two days. Furthermore, Salah will only accept a loan where the club has an obligation to buy him, not an option to buy him. Lots and lots of teams were interested in Salah.

Salah agreed to join the Serie A side at the weekend but the clubs have discussed a £1.4million loan fee with a buy-out figure of £16m.
