Mourinho wants Salah gone

Jose Mourinho is becoming increasingly frustrated with winger Mohamed Salah and wants him gone by the end of the week, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper reports that Salah does not follow instructions in training, and fails to adapt to the different systems Mourinho employs in training.

Furthermore, the winger reportedly shows no desire to improve upon his defensive side of the game; something Mourinho demands from his midfielders, and fails to remember patterns of play in training due to his instinctive style.

This, combined with the Egyptians ongoing contract/transfer saga which has led to Fiorentina potentially taking legal action against the club and Salah, has led to the Chelsea boss becoming fed up with the winger.

The 23-year-old was sent to train with the youth team earlier this week by Mourinho, who is said to want Salah gone within the next few days.

Fiorentina, who are rightly aggrieved by the situation, have lost interest in the winger after previously agreeing new terms with Salah for next season; only for the Egyptian’s agent to cancel the move.

Inter Milan and Juventus had shown interest in the 23-year-old but have since turned their attention elsewhere.

Roma are now thought to be the latest Serie A side interested in the winger, but no formal move has been made as of yet.

And though it is uncertain what club Salah will be playing for next campaign, it seems highly likely he won’t be wearing the blue of Chelsea.
