According to ‘Express’, Chelsea are in for Napoli forward Jose Callejon. The Spanish international would likely be a cheaper alternative to Pedro, who Chelsea were rumored to be after, just last week.
Callejon was part of a disappointing Napoli campaign in which they finished fifth in Serie A. Callejon was able to get eleven goals in the league and it was a decent season for the forward.
If Callejon were to come, it is likely he would be replacing Mohamed Salah, who Mourinho is very upset with and wants out of the club. Sarah seems set to join Roma which Fiorentina are very upset with and could seek legal action over.
Mourinho has worked with Callejon before and at the age of 27, could get Callejon scoring lots of goals for Chelsea in his prime years. This is a rumor out of nowhere and would be surprising if it went through.
