According to the Telegraph, Filipe Luis could be returning to Madrid this summer.
After only 22 appearances for Chelsea, the Brazilian left back has had trouble displacing Azpilicueta from the starting line up and could be heading back to Madrid.
It is said Atletico are interested and with Mourinho not favoriting him to Azpilicueta, it would make sense for Luis to search for regular football. The left back scored a fine goal from a dead ball earlier this season against Derby in a 31 win.
The goal being a strong contender for goal of the season. If Chelsea’s number 3 were to leave, it would mean a new left back would have to come in. Whether that is a new signing or calling up an academy product, remains up to Mourinho.
