Jose Mourinho is at it again. Or is he?

Last week, we unfortunately saw Terry and Cech injured for the rest of the season. Or so we thought. Until yesterday it surely seemed that way.

Around noon yesterday, rumors circled that a very strong Chelsea quartet trained ahead of the home clash with Atletico Madrid. The quartet consisted of Eden Hazard, Samuel Eto’o, John Terry, and Petr Cech.

Very weird news seeing as Cech had “dislocated his shoulder and would miss the rest of the season” according to Mourinho. Also by Mourinho, Terry would miss the rest of the season unless Chelsea reached the Champions League final.

But did Cech really dislocate his shoulder? What was the real injury Terry suffered? Were these Mourinho’s mind games once again? Or, do Chelsea have the best medical program in Europe?

For me, it is a little bit of both. Mourinho is well known for mind games; originally all four had been ruled out by Mourinho for the match. But now, Terry has been guaranteed a start, Hazard will feature, Eto’o is likely to feature, and Cech is still ruled out.

How much of this is in fact mind games? It is brilliant what Mourinho has done. Now, Atletico will be forced to change and adjust their game plans to deal with Terry, Hazard, and Eto’o. With just one day to prepare, Simeone may not have enough time to adjust his game plan to match Mourinho’s.

Eden Hazard will be itching to help this team reach it’s third European Final in as many years, as will Samuel Eto’o. Terry, though, will be absolutely buzzing to get a chance to play in his first European final in the last three years, missing the past two to injury and/or suspension.

But we can’t forget the lovely work from the beloved Eva Carneiro and Chelsea’s medical team. They’ve done a fantastic job getting these players healthy in a timely manner. It’s a true miracle. To get all these back healthy and playing is crucial for the advancement of this club in the competition and Chelsea have one of the finest medical groups in Europe at their disposal.

This Chelsea side have the experience in the team and leadership to get to the Final; they need to put it all together and play as champions. Hopefully, they will meet Real Madrid in the Champions League Final.

Predicted Line-Up
